AMIGA.mobile is Austria's first pre-selection choice for cheap international mobile phone calls.

How do I sign in with AMIGA.mobile?

As an AMIGA customer you may sign in by post, by phone or simply here online.
As a new customer please fill in and send the AMIGA registration form and a copy of your last phone bill to AMIGA.

How long does it take to get AMIGA.mobile activated?

The activation of AMIGA.mobile only takes a few hours.

How do phone calls work with AMIGA.mobile?

You dial the international telephone number and you call at the cheap AMIGA.mobile tariffs round the world.

Does AMIGA.mobile work with every mobile phone?

Yes. AMIGA.mobile works with every mobile phone provider and with every tariff.

Does AMIGA.mobile also work with landlines of alternative providers and cable providers (UPC-Priority, UTA, eTel, LiWest)?

Yes. AMIGA.mobile is our service for all landlines apart from the Telekom Austria Network.

Do I need a special phone or mobile phone when calling with AMIGA.mobile?

No. AMIGA.mobile works with every landline phone or mobile phone.

Is it possible to register prepaid-phones with AMIGA.mobile?

Prepaid-phones may also be registered, but savings are often lower, because the landline tariffs for the pre-selection are higher.

Does AMIGA.mobile also work for calls within Austria?

There may be savings with calls within Austria only when calling to other mobile phone providers, because in addition to the AMIGA tariff the landline tariff of the mobile phone provider is charged for the pre-selection.

Is it possible to use AMIGA.mobile with the mobile phone from abroad?

No. AMIGA.mobile only works within Austria.

How do I pay for my phone calls?

You will be charged monthly for all of your phone calls. Together with your detailed AMIGA bill you receive an itimised bill, as well as the AMIGA Top 10 report, your personal telephone cost analysis.

Are there any contract fees with AMIGA.mobile?

No. There are no hidden or extra costs with AMIGA.mobile. You only pay for your actual phone calls.

Is there a minimum charge for AMIGA.mobile?

No. There are no minimum charges, hidden or extra costs – you only pay for your actual calls.

What is the tariff tact of AMIGA.mobile?

We charge you according to the 60/30 tact.

Are there special business tariffs with AMIGA.mobile?

Are there different tariffs for daytime and evening and weekend calls?

No. The AMIGA.mobile tariffs are valid round the clock.

Do the same tariffs apply to the international landlines and mobile phones?

In most cases the mobile phone tariffs are higher than the landline tariffs. However, often the tariffs are the same, such as to the USA and to Canada.

How much are the pre-selection costs?

For the pre-selection  into the AMIGA network with the pre-selection number, your provider will charge you only the usual tariff into the Austria landline network. Therefore your savings depend on your mobile network provider and the chosen tariff. You save most with the landline 1 cent tariffs and the landline 0 cent option.

Is my telephone number transmitted when I call with AMIGA.mobile?

Yes. With AMIGA.mobile the number is transmitted, unless the number is not actively surpressed.

Is there an AMIGA App for my iPhone/Android mobile phone?

Yes. From January 9th, 2011 on you may download an app in the Apple App Store or in the Android Market for an easy usage of AMIGA.mobile.

Can I pre-select the prefix-number 0120000?

Yes. You may install  the pre-selection of 0120000 ahead of each international phone number in order to call the number directly from your phone-book  with AMIGA.mobile. Between 0120000 and the international number must be an empty space, e.g. 0120000p0049123456789.
