What is AMIGA.private?
Amiga is Austria's ultra cheap landline tariff. With AMIGA you do not have to switch between different providers and tariffs in order to use the cheapest telephone service. With AMIGA you simply call at the cheapest rates: within Austria – throughout Europe – worldwide!
How do I sign in with AMIGA.private?
You may register by post, by phone (0800 999 888) or simply here online.
How long does it take to get AMIGA.private installed?
Upon receiving your registration we activate AMIGA.private within several hours. The installation of the AMIGA pre-selection takes three working days. In the meanwhile you simply dial our network prefix-number 1018 before each call.
How do phone calls work with AMIGA.private?
After the installation of the pre-selection in your landline each phone call works as usual: you pick up the receiver and dial the number you want to phone.
Does AMIGA.private work with every landline?
In order to be able to use the AMIGA pre-selection you need a Telekom Austria landline. For landlines of private providers and cable providers (UPC-Priority, Tele2UTAcomplete) and mobile phones you use our service AMIGA.mobile. In case you have a locked phone of Telekom Austria you unfortunately cannot use our services.
Does AMIGA also work with my mobile phone?
Yes. With your mobile phone you use our service AMIGA.mobile.
How do I pay for my phone calls?
You will receive a monthly bill. In case you use our service less often, your bill comes accordingly less often. Together with your detailed AMIGA bill you receive an itimised bill as well as the AMIGA Top 10 Report, your personal telephone cost analysis.
Are there any contract costs?
No. There are no hidden or extra costs with AMIGA. You only pay for your actual phone calls. Telekom Austria charges you the contract tariffs as in the past.

No. There are no minimum charges, no hidden or extra costs. You only pay for your actual calls.
Does AMIGA.private charge by the second?
Yes. AMIGA.private always charges by the second, starting with the first second.
Are there special AMIGA business tariffs?

Are there different AMIGA.private daytime and weekend tariffs?
Only for the tariff Austria landline. All other tariffs are valid round the clock. You find the current tariffs here.
Do the same tariffs apply to the international landlines and to the mobile phones?
In most cases the mobile phone tariffs are higher than the landline tariffs. However, often the tariffs are the same, such as to the USA and Canada. For further information click here.
Is my telephone number transmitted when I call with AMIGA?
The transmission of your number is handled by Telekom Austria. When your number was transmitted before you switched to AMIGA, it will be transmitted in the future as well. There is no change after the installation of the AMIGA pre-selection.
